sousse

Sousse is located on the eastern coast of Tunisia and has become one of the most favored tourist destinations because of the varied attractions the city has to offer.

Sousse is the third largest city in Tunisia that enjoys a mild climate and it is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying holidays by its stunning beach, its beautiful medina, restaurants...and many more.

Known as “the pearl of the Sahel,” this land has charmed Phoenicians, Romans, Byzantines and Arabs who came and settled in this beautiful fertile city.

Thus, Sousse is very much influenced by the culture and tradition of these ancient civilizations. The city has numerous monuments and museums which are open and easily accessible.

The Medina is very popular among tourists, which are accompanied by shops selling silver jewellery, woolen blankets, copper and carpets.

The Sousse town is very modern offering high standard of living and the area close to the medina has buildings belonging to French colonial period. The old town of Sousse has many buildings which are a perfect example of Arab architecture and also has an amusing Archaeological Museum such as the Ribat, the Great Mosque, theKasbah…etc.
